GLP-1 Support Coaching: Build Eating Habits That Last Beyond the Medication
Virtual eating psychology coaching for people taking or coming off Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound, and other GLP-1 medications. Available in all 50 states.
The medication quiets the noise. Coaching helps you understand it.
GLP-1 medications can make food feel quieter. Cravings soften, portions shrink, and the constant mental chatter about eating may fade. For many people, it's the first relief they've felt in years.
The medication doesn't change why you were eating the way you were, though. Stress, exhaustion, loneliness, boredom, rigid food rules, eating to get through a long day: those patterns are still there underneath. When the medication is reduced or stopped, they often come back.
This is the time to do that deeper work, while the medication is giving you room to breathe.
Who this is for
You're currently taking a GLP-1 and want to make the most of this window
You're planning to taper or stop and feel anxious about what happens next
You've already stopped and notice old patterns returning
You feel disconnected from hunger and fullness cues, or unsure how to eat now
You want lasting change without another restrictive diet
What we work on together
The patterns beneath your eating: what emotional, stress-driven, or habitual eating has been doing for you, and what you need instead
Reconnecting with body cues: learning to notice hunger, fullness, and satisfaction again, especially as medication effects change
Coping tools for stress and emotions: nervous system regulation and practical strategies for the moments that used to send you to food
Releasing shame and food rules: moving away from all-or-nothing thinking toward trust and flexibility
A plan for life after the medication: building habits and self-awareness now so you feel prepared if and when you stop
How it works
Sessions are virtual, on a HIPAA-compliant platform, so they fit around a busy schedule. We start with a 90-minute consultation to explore your history with food, your goals, and where the medication fits in. From there, ongoing 60-minute sessions help you put the work into practice.
Coaching complements your medical care. It doesn't replace it. I don't prescribe or give guidance on medication dosing; those decisions stay with your prescribing provider.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need coaching if the medication is already working?
The medication can reduce appetite, but it doesn't address emotional or stress-related eating patterns. Working on them while you're on the medication helps you build skills that stay with you after it.
What happens to eating habits after stopping a GLP-1?
Many people find that cravings and old eating patterns return once the medication's appetite effects fade. Coaching helps you prepare by building awareness, coping tools, and a steadier relationship with food ahead of time.
Is this a diet or meal plan?
No. Eating psychology coaching focuses on why you eat the way you do, using a non-diet, mind-body approach. There are no meal plans or rigid rules.
Is coaching treatment for an eating disorder?
No. Coaching isn't treatment for an eating disorder. If you think you may have an eating disorder, please reach out to a medical provider or an eating disorder treatment specialist.
Can I work with you if I don't live in Ohio or Florida?
Yes. Eating psychology coaching is available virtually in all 50 states.
Will you help me decide whether to stop my medication?
Medication decisions are between you and your prescribing provider. My role is to support the eating patterns, emotions, and habits around food, whatever you decide.
Does insurance cover GLP-1 support coaching?
Coaching isn't billed to insurance, but it may be eligible for HSA or FSA funds.
Is this the same as therapy?
No. Coaching and therapy are separate services, and clients can't move between them.
